Care for the clothes you keep

Cotton, denim, and wool last longer when you wash less and fold with a little intention. A short guide from the studio.

Wash cotton when it needs it, not on a schedule. Cold water and a mild soap keep the ivory shirt from going dull. Hang it straight and button the collar while it dries.

Denim prefers air. Turn the jacket inside out, skip the dryer, and let the colour stay where it started. A crease at the elbow is fine. A baked-in shine is not.

Wool wants rest more than water. After a wear, hang the coat overnight so the fibres recover. If it needs a clean, use a wool cycle or a trusted cleaner, then store it on a wide hanger.

A small ritual beats a rescue later. These pieces are meant to stay in the rotation, not in the back of a cupboard.
